Industrial Re-use

Manhattan’s meatpacking district is just one of many areas in New York City where industrial roots are being replaced by new uses. As new shops, restaurants, and galleries move into the neighborhood along Gansevoort Street, there is great potential to reuse or adapt existing facades and building elements. This saves material from going to the landfill, and connects the neighborhood to its past.
