Asheville Bus Shelter

Participants in the Design Corps summer studio learn about community engagement and design through real-world projects: in this case, a bus shelter for a neighborhood in Asheville, NC.
To complete the project, the student team learned to understand the social and historical context, work with community groups, and design collaboratively. Construction training included woodworking, machining, welding, and concrete forming.
