Resilient Home Expo
Through a grant from the Community and Regional Research Institute, the GCCDS developed an exhibit for the Gulf Coast Resilient Home Building Expo in order to share lessons learned about sustainable, hurricane-resistant construction for coastal communities. I helped supervise the design and construction of three partial house sections demonstrating a variety of resilient building materials and methods. The structures were successfully competed on a very short timeline.
